Branding the sign-in page
Your sign-in page carries your name, your logo and your colour, so your users recognise it as yours.
Set on Login Branding in your console.
What you can change#
| Company name | Shown at the top of the sign-in card on every step, and in the page title. |
| Logo | Shown at the top of the sign-in card on every step. A wide logo that spells your name stands alone; a square one sits beside your company name. PNG, SVG, JPEG or WebP, up to 500 KB; a transparent background works best. |
| Accent colour | The button, the links, and a light wash at the top of the page. Choose one of the listed colours or type your own. |
| Background image | Optional. A picture behind the card instead of the wash. |
The page comes in light and in dark. Each person sees the one their device asks for and can switch with the button at the top of the page; your name, logo and accent are used in both. The preview on Login Branding shows both.
Changes apply to your tenant's sign-in page only, and to every step of it: the password form, the second factor, the set-up steps and the error pages.
Why it matters#
A user who is sent from your application to a page they do not recognise is right to hesitate. A sign-in page that looks like yours is what tells them it is safe to type their password, and it is what makes a phishing copy on another address look wrong.
Tell your users the address of your sign-in page once, so they can check it.
